DRONE VIEW IN OCEAN CITY

Across the world, theme parks, fairgrounds and tourist resorts, normally bustling as summer approaches, were forced to close down. Gone were the usual, familiar sounds of roller coasters, fairground rides and children’s laughter while running along beachside boardwalks – instead, the eerie silence of inactivity loomed. Beaches, normally packed with holidaymakers, were closed and empty, save for the odd jogger or family looking for some fresh air amid the confinement. A deserted and eerie Ocean City, Maryland captured from above, illustrates both the unsettling tranquility and the still, quiet beauty of the lockdown.
