With travel and mobility severely restricted, amateur and professional athletes alike had to improvise new ways of staying in shape, while fans of elite sports were made to stay away from the stadiums and remotely support their teams in new, creative ways.

Some soccer fans would do anything to watch their team play. Supporters of Bohemians Prague decided to cheer for their team despite the ban on crowds in the stadium, due to the COVID-19 disease. They watched the derby against their rivals Sparta Prague. As the stands were blocked, supporters climbed the walls near the stadium to watch the game. The Bohemians fans used all sorts of ways to climb the wall and watch the game, from ladders, makeshift stands and even scaffolding. The Bohemians ended up losing the game, 0-1.
HORSE RACING IN TIMES OF COVID

Horse racing in Turkey, along with other major sports including football, basketball, handball, and volleyball, was forced into hibernation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But even though the races were suspended or canceled, the riders and their horses kept up their training regimes to be ready to return to action once the lockdown was eased. After 82 days, horse racing finally resumed in the country on 10 June

With enclosed spaces shut due to the risk of contagion, physical activities have had to find new, safer environments in which to operate.
